My experience includes 24 evolving years. I have had the pleasure of teaching grades 2, 4, 5, and held the position of reading specialist. I am currently teaching fourth grade ELA. This will be my 12th year in 4th. Although the writing is a tough and stressful part of my teaching, it's my favorite subject. I love it when students find a word from a book and turn around and use it in their writing. Learning is all about connecting!

I am passionate about a lot of things. My job is one of them. I am lucky enough to say, "I love what I do!" My students are an extended family for me. Memorable learning moments are what I hope to make for each and every student. I want my students to connect to their learning and in doing so, love it! When they love it, they remember it.
