TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am a Title I reading intervention teacher. We work on both reading and writing skills. Prior to my title I job I was a long term middle school substitute. I spent every day working between four middle schools. I had four long term positions in ELA classrooms.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I only have two rules in my classroom. We always treat everyone with respect and you must have a positive attitude when you walk through my door. I find that these two rules can be used to correct any bad behavior.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

I was awarded a service award from the Michigan Education Association for my hard work during the time I spent guest teaching.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I am a graduate of Central Michigan University. I have my Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education. My major is Language Arts and my minor is Physical Education. I also have a middle level endorsement. What can I say, I love working in the middle!
