I have been a speech pathologist for over 15 years! It truly has been a gift to grow with my students and colleagues over the years. While most of my experience is with working educations pre-k through high school, I also have been give opportunities to work in pediatric therapy clinics and skilled nursing facilities.
I have a fun and energetic teaching style. I feel establishing a rapport with my students AND parents fosters a healthy learning experience for my students. Engaging my students in activities that are animating, fun, interactive, and colorful makes the learning experience so much more powerful!
I have co-authored a book and a game which was such a fun adventure! I have learned from the experience and hope I can continue to provide product that will benefit teachers, therapist, and our students. Here are my publications: 1. The Cookie Thief, The Speech Bin 2. The Basic Manual for Speech & Language, Say it right.
I studied speech, language, and hearing sciences at Minnesota State University, Moorhead receiving my Bachelor of Science degree. I proudly earned my master's degree at California State University, Fullerton.
I am a wife and mother to 4 beautiful children. I love to be outdoors and enjoy an active life style. I enjoy running, camping, and watching my kids play sports.
