I have taught for 18 years as a parent and 10 years in a school setting, which 1 year of that has been homeschool. I absolutely love teaching because I get to be creative and be a part of hundreds of people's lives.
I am a "hands-on" teacher. I believe students learn best by practicing! I give mini-lessons to teach the standard and allow ample time for the students to engage in thinking and practicing the standard. I believe MOST learning comes from each other, therefore, most often than any you will hear talking from my room.
I received honors with my Masters degree in Curriculum and Design: Reading and Writing from Lesley University.
Associates of Arts Bachelors in Elementary Education, Major Multidisciplinary Studies and Minor in ESL: Spanish Masters in Curriculum and Design: Reading and Writing
