Having worked in diverse settings in Nevada and Minnesota, as an elementary educator I have continually aimed at making lessons both engaging and meaningful for all learners.
My students enjoy their learning experience as I bring humor into the classroom. The environment is laid back, yet focused on the essential learning outcomes where are students are encouraged to always do their best. While building a safe environment both physically and mentally for all students, young citizens within the classroom assist one another as together we work towards building an, "at home environment."
Yet to be added
Growing up in a small community in Minnesota, I attended K-12 in a public school setting. After graduation I continued by learning at a local State university and earned my degree in Elementary Education. Eventually I completed my master's degree in educational leadership within the state of Minnesota. Throughout my career I have always sought out additional learning opportunities to stay knowledgeable with current trends in education.
My family is the single most important thing to me. I enjoy sports, going to the zoo and many museums. Although I must be honest in sharing that I do not read my books, nonfiction reading has always been a favorite of mine!
