I have fifteen years of experience working in middle school and high school classrooms from inner city, rural, and Western Africa. I have twenty years of experience with curriculum writing and development. I have also developed and delivered numerous professional development trainings. Currently I am working in a Science and Technology museum as Education Director where I assist with developing programs from pre-k through adult in science, math and technology areas.
I am definitely a hands on, student centered, practice based instructor. I like inquiry style when it fits appropriately. I prefer assessments to be aligned with the teaching style and incorporate process, lab skills, and problem solving.
