TEACHING EXPERIENCE

During my years of teaching, I have worked in both public and charter school settings. These career opportunities include teaching a variety of grade levels and subjects, developing standards based curriculum, obtaining educational grants, and facilitating administrative tasks. My educational philosophy contains the following objectives: • Challenge every type of learner inclusive of aptitude and interest. • Develop interdisciplinary teaching that promotes higher-order thinking. Avoid teaching methods that treat education as a series of discrete subjects. • Collaborate with stakeholders beyond the classroom. Achieve success by working with and for my colleagues, community, and students.
