During my years of teaching, I have worked in both public and charter school settings. These career opportunities include teaching a variety of grade levels and subjects, developing standards based curriculum, obtaining educational grants, and facilitating administrative tasks. My educational philosophy contains the following objectives: • Challenge every type of learner inclusive of aptitude and interest. • Develop interdisciplinary teaching that promotes higher-order thinking. Avoid teaching methods that treat education as a series of discrete subjects. • Collaborate with stakeholders beyond the classroom. Achieve success by working with and for my colleagues, community, and students.
Engage and challenge every type of learner inclusive of various aptitude and interest by combining different teaching methods with the diverse educational and cultural experiences gained throughout my career.
