TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am a young teacher (just approaching student teaching!) I have done multiple field experiences for methods courses in which I've designed lessons and taught them. These lesson plans were then evaluated by the university professors. I believe that being new to the field of education is an advantage for me, rather than a disadvantage. I am up-to-date in terms of expectations for teachers and my lessons are designed through incorporation of common core standards.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I love being a facilitator of learning in the classroom rather than a lecturer. I am an advocate for intensive group work.
