TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Pretty much none! Yay me! I student-taught for a full year and am in my first official year of teaching.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Fun-centered. Free and easy. Student-centered. Relaxed and safe. Getting students moving and talking as much as possible. Students are responsible for their behavior and their learning. I guide, facilitate, support, and teach when and where necessary. Knowledge is to be discovered, not downloaded. The status quo is to be challenged, not accepted.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

Outstanding Education Scholar Professor-nominated award given to several education students per year.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

University of Maryland, College Park Bachelor of Science in Education, graduated May 2014 Major: Elementary Education Cumulative GPA: 3.8

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION
