Been teaching early childhood in a family childcare setting for 3 years. Planning to move onto 1st or 2nd grade when my little ones are in school. Girl Scout leader, mom of an 9 year, 7 year, 3 year, and 2 year old.
Teaching goals and skills explain my basic style. Being an early childhood teacher, they need their basic skills and higher order thinking to develop in order to be successful when they get to school. Almost all of my products will have mental and physical skills incorporated.
$1000 Working Grant for materials. Aha moments....every time a child does something that you taught them.
CDA, Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Working on my Masters in Early Childhood Education.
I'm a career changer, got my first degree for a business job I was in and after having kids and becoming involved with them, I realized teaching is where I need to be. I am pursuing my Masters in Early Childhood Education and I can not wait until I can get into the school system. I am currently teaching early childhood in my home in a daycare setting. I am with the Georgia Quality Rated program and am doing great things to increase the quality of in home childcare. I love kids and teaching, it truly is my passion.
