I have worked in the field for many years in preschool, Kindergarten, after school programs, and student taught in a second grade. I have gone from being a teacher's aide to now having my own classroom in a public school system.
I was trained under the constructivist point of view and enjoy using whole group instruction and then moving to small group or independent learning centers. I love to give students a chance to do hands on activities to enhance their learning, allowing them to make connections to their lives and have visuals to help them grasp a concept.
