I am a really big supporter of inquiry based learning, yes even in Phys.ed we can challenge students to come up with their own learning. In this game there is a element of student input that so many Phys.ed lessons lack. The Blue Ball of Doom, gets

This is a great game that gets every single student in your class moving, steal as many pinnies as you can while protecting the ones you already have. Run, dodge, duck, dive and slide away from everyone, no one is on your side.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am a graduate of the University of Alberta in Edmonton, I have been athletic as long as I can remember. My sport of choice was soccer growing up and played at a high level youth program in Calgary AB and later went on to play at Red Deer College for three years switching back and forth between striker and outside midfielder. After my time at RDC I finished my degree at U of A. My goal now is to instill a zest for activity in young people with both my knowledge of physical education but also my personal experience of athletics.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I truly believe we have inquiry learning in any setting especially within the realms of Physical Education. Its so very important to remember that its not our (teachers) learning that's going on its the their (students) learning. We just need to facilitate that.
