I've been teaching elementary aged refugee students at an International School in Buffalo, NY since 2010. I teach ESL, ELA and am certified to teach homerooms. I also run an adult ESL program.
I love learning from the kids! Definitely a naturalist and constructivst meets free-spirited artist.

I earned my B.S.ed in Childhood Education from Buffalo State College, then continued on to my M.S.ed in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages from SUNY Fredonia. Currently, I am working on my PhD at the University of Buffalo. My studies and research focus on ESL, SLA, heritage languages, and translanguaging.
