TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have 20 years of experience as an Orton-Gilingham Practitioner. I am a Fellow of the Academy of Orton-Gillingham and have been for the past 12 years. I run a private practice, run a summer program for dyslexic students, and train teachers using the Orton-Gillingham Approach and help them work towards accreditation.

MY TEACHING STYLE

My teaching style is direct and explicit as well as emotionally sound. It is diagnostic and prescriptive allowing children to make the most gains possible.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I have a BA in Elementary Education and an MS in Reading. I am also a Fellow of the Orton-Gillingham Academy.

I am a Fellow of the Orton-Gillingham Academy and have run my own O-G summer camp for the past 15 summers. I also have a private practice working with dyslexic children.
