I have been a part of the educational field for the past 22 years. I have taught levels Infant to 5th grade. The past 14 years has been dedicated to the elementary level (Pre-K-5th grade) . I wore many hats serving as grade level chair for my grade level, GATE Coordinator, Intervention Coordinator, School Site Council Member, SST member, Social Events Coordinator, Instructional Team member, Director and Assistant Director of Preschools, Discipline Committee member and just recently moved into the position as the Title One and Categorical Program Advisors for my school which focuses on English Learners. I've had the pleasure of being a BTSA support mentor teacher, intern supervisor, provided professional developments for administrators, coordinators, teachers and parents both at the school level and district level. As you can see, I am a life-long learner; always seeking for ways to grow and make an impact in children's lives.
I am an eclectic bag. I believe in working to the needs of the students. I also believe that children should be taught specifically to their learning style. I like to focus on the multiple intelligences and developmental process. Learning should encompass good first teaching with a hands-on approach. Students learn best when learning is interactive and fun. I love when students are accountable for their own learning and when they feel confident to explain concepts in their own words. I like to challenge my students focusing on critical thinking and proving with evidence. Every day is different and every year is different!

My goals are simple. I like to focus on prevention and intervention. I always wanted to find ways to teach concepts, reteach concepts and have students practice skills in a way that is comprehensible and fun. I like to measure growth by creating items that assess progress and mastery. I have an affinity for helping teachers succeed and to make life easier. Being an educator is both taxing and rewarding so my hope is that the products I sell will assist in making teaching and learning exciting and productive!
