My name is Paul Hutson and I currently live and teach in London, UK. I taught at elementary school level for four years in both London and Abu Dhabi. During my time as a teacher I specialised in teaching English and using creative methods to implement a project based learning approach in my classrooms. I now teach part time alongside developing Night Zookeeper, which is a school project and digital experience that inspires children around the world. I work in schools alongside teachers and pupils across the UK, running creativity and literacy workshops. I have also created online education resources to stimulate creativity and other core skills in the classroom. Visit my website, www.nightzookeeper.com and my blog http://nightzooteacher.com to learn more about my current project.
I believe that children learn best when they are immersed in a project. I try to find as many links as I can to integrate a range of subjects into the projects that I deliver to the children in class. I also believe that children should be able to express themselves creatively in the classroom and the work they produce should be celebrated at every opportunity. I try to integrate technology into my lessons wherever possible.

My current passion project is Night Zookeeper, which is based around a popular children's story. Children that experience the project are invited in to a world of endless possibilities where elephants can travel in time and flamingos have magical healing features. The story stimulates imaginations and encourages children to express themselves and celebrate their creativity. Visit my website www.nightzookeeper.com for further details.
