Engagement First: There's a big discrepancy between engagement and compliance. My focus is on creating lessons that students not only enjoy in the classroom, but share with their families after school. I expect in-depth critical and higher-order thinking to become second nature. Layers of scaffolded materials are provided to all students, enabling them to self-select the resources to meet and then surpass expectations.

I found school to be miserable, boring, and torturous. Discovering that I actually enjoyed to learn, I felt cheated. Keene State College: Bachelor of Science; Education and Communication University of Massachusetts: Master of Education (ex. 2015)
In an era of accountability, we must retain the sentiment of teaching as an altruistic profession. The resources posted here will always be provided free of charge for one reason: feedback to confirm or enhance effectiveness are more valuable than monetary contributions. However, I recognize that in this profession, we can’t put a price on time. Instead of asking for money before you discover whether or not the resources are right for your class, please try them out. If the resources are effective and you don’t have the time to provide feedback, consider contributing even a couple of dollars to promote continued creation. Donations can be made at NoHigh5.com
