TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Hi There! Welcome to my store! My name is Tonya and I have been teaching Math in Canada at Intermediate/Secondary levels for over 7 years now. I am exsited to share my resources with You!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I believe in balanced instruction and reflective practices. I feel that students benefit from a combination of instructional methods, such as direct instruction, thinking classrooms, technology based lessons and paper organizers/foldables.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

I am a published author. I have written a number of articles on the topic of paperless mathematics classroom. I have also Amazon published a Grade 7-10 Guide titled “Math Your Way to Success”, the goal of which is to give middle-school students an idea of what they need to know to be successful in early high school grades.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I have attended school and university in Europe, prior to moving to Canada in early 2000s.
