I've been teaching 2nd grade inclusion for over a decade in a collaborative rural/suburban school district. I've been fortunate enough to work with a group of fantastic teachers, students, and families that all make my career seem like a really fun hobby! I felt the crunch of common core come down on me like a hammer and decided to share some of the lessons I've created to help lessen the work load on other teachers.
I like to think of my teaching style as hands on as possible. It's a student driven environment where questions and inquiries are encouraged.
Norma Munger Sutter Award for Excellence in Student Teaching 2003.
I have a Bachelor's in Elementary Education grades K-6 and a Master's as a Reading Specialist. I'm about half-way through a Master's in Counseling.
I'm a single Mom and I love my son!
