TEACHING EXPERIENCE

My professional experience has been as an elementary teacher for more than 25 years. The most recent 8 years I have served as a Teacher Librarian on a PreK-5th grade campus. I also serve as lead elementary librarian for our school district, overseeing 18 elementary campuses.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I believe a library is the "hub" of the school. A space that is open all day, a place to explore, create, share, and not necessarily be quiet. As the teacher librarian I want my lessons to support what is happening in the classroom, be exceptional and motivating to both the student and classroom teacher. I want my library to be "Future Ready"!
