TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I've been teaching elementary music since 2005 and I love it! I switched to be K-12 in 2015 and went back to elementary music in 2017.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I love Orff, Kodaly, and ETM lessons, but most of all I believe that music lessons should be purposeful and playful. If you are having fun, so will your students!

I'm a full-time music teacher to hundreds of elementary students and have taught everything from pre-k general music to high school choir. I enjoy spending time with my husband, 3 daughters, and stinker of a dog. I love musicals, corny puns, and watching BBC mystery shows. I'm a professional development junkie and a Jesus fan!
