CUNY Adjunct Lecturer, Math Department ▪ Provides instruction in Pre-Calc, Remedial Math, Elementary Probability and Statistics, and Summer Immersion. ▪ Develops lectures, administers online homework, computer labs, and exams in correlation with the curriculum. Utilizes Blackboard to create course examinations and computer labs and maintain an electronic gradebook. ▪ Collaborates with two other course leaders to create and administer final exam. SPED Mathematics & Technology Teacher ▪ Coordinates future Professional Developments (PD) as a CS PD Lead for school. These programs will be worked on weekly, with another teacher, and offered once per month to groups of five to ten instructors. ▪ Conducts Google Classroom PD twice a semester for a group of eight teachers. ▪ Serves as the SLC Coordinator and handles the budget for, and organizes, student activities, trips, and events. Manages common planning time three times a week for fellow instructors. ▪ Collaborates with team teachers daily, with grade leaders on a weekly basis, and with SLC members three times a week. ▪ Works with two guidance counselors and the district representative to conduct IEP meetings three times per month on average, depending on the caseload. ▪ Attends various professional developments such as, but not limited to, Hochman Writing, Google Apps, and “Using Data to Arrest Troubling Patterns in Student Performance.” ▪ Develops differentiated lesson plans and various academic activities that align to CCSS. ▪ Analyzes student data to utilize as a tool for future instruction. Maintains Electronic Grade Book and Behavioral Analysis to monitor all progress. ▪ Conducts numerous tutoring sessions after school, during lunch, and on Saturdays for SAT Prep and Regents. ▪ Provides instruction on Software Engineering Pilot (SEP), Algebra I Common Core, Geometry Common Core, and Senior Math College Concepts. ▪ Manages SSD Accommodation forms for SAT accommodations. Organizes Regents and SAT proctoring schedules. Proctors Regents, SAT and Final exams. ▪ Supervises duties of Tech Squad Club, where students work alongside the school’s IT Department to maintain school technology. ▪ Updates student progress on SESIS and IEP’s with all new and relevant information. Served as a 6th and 8th Grade SPED Math Teacher. Instructed in ICT setting with an ELL section that included SPED. ▪ Develops annual curriculum map along with monthly snapshots of upcoming lessons. ▪ Compiles lessons, activities, and assignments utilizing differentiated instruction, along with other accommodations, for students with different learning styles. ▪ Serves as an after-school and weekend tutor. ▪ Administers NYS and i-Ready Diagnostic (Predictive) Exams via the computer. ▪ Updates Title 1 Articulation Logs.


I like to follow a project based learning style whenever I can. It allows students to stay engaged while learning to their maximum capacity. This also allow for differentiation to occur in the classroom during student learning.
