TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been teaching in York Springs, PA since 1986. I've taught 11 and 12 English, all levels: Academic, College Prep., and Honors. I taught Shakespeare class, a class in Keystone Test preparation, and various odds and ends. I was a class advisor, cheerleading coach, and drama director. I have a great husband and two kids. My daughter attends the University of Pennsylvania and my son is enrolled at Lycoming College.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I'm an old-fashioned teacher. I believe in providing students with essential information and developing their fundamental skills. I assess their learning through various activities, writing, presentations and projects.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

I'm proud of the success that my students achieve. Many return from college with "thank you's" and positive feedback.
