TEACHING EXPERIENCE

For the past fifteen years, I've taught middle school English Language Arts in New York City.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I love to read. Sharing and spreading the benefits of reading and writing is the basis for everything I do.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

I have presented at the New York State Reading Association's annual conference.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I earned a B.A. in English Writing Arts from Oswego State University, an M.S. in Secondary Education from Hofstra University, and an MS in Literacy from the City College of New York.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

My big dream is to write novels for young adults, and I have spent much of my free time pursuing additional studies in Creative Writing. I've found that even reluctant writers can't help but be drawn in by writing poetry and fiction.
