Hello, and it is absolutely wonderful to meet you! My name is Olya, and I studied Early Childhood Education for about six years including experiences inside the classroom as well as abroad teaching. I taught first grade, and although I loved my students, I wasn't entirely thrilled with being a classroom teacher and wanted to find other ways that I can serve kids. I think it is becoming harder and harder to grow up in our society surrounded by technology and a lot of negative and pressured influences. From personal experience, I do not think students receive enough mental health aid from simple things such as dealing with their emotions appropriately to talking about a problem and how to solve them. I hate the thought of students feeling like they don't have anyone to turn to to help them address issues, so I am concentrating on coming up with ways and resources to help them. I am working on a lot of cool stuff that teachers, parents, and other professionals can use to help their students and children! I look forward to helping those in need and hearing your feedback! Thank you and welcome to my Mental Health Aid Store!
Although I am no longer teaching, I concentrate my material heavily on the student's mental and emotional well being. I think it is our responsibility as not only teachers but parents and people that work with children to ensure that we teach our kids how to get through emotional obstacles.
Graduated Magna Cum Laude in Early Childhood Education
Graduated with a degree in Early Childhood Education from Temple University, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
I was an orphan until I was about eight years old in Russia. Then I was adopted and came to the USA and have grown up on the East Coast in the Brotherly love city of Philadelphia. Over the last few years while in the education field, I have noticed how much we lack resources to bring into our schools that help aid students when it comes to mental health and dealing with their emotions. I am hoping to bring positive change for our kids!
