I have an undergraduate degree in Journalism and Mass Communication, (Publication Management) from the Grady College of Journalism at the University of Georgia (2009). After working as a Licensed Marketing Specialist for an insurance company and Administrative Assistant at a downtown Athens church, I decided to further my education and begin a career in teaching. I attended Piedmont College from 2012 to 2014 where I earned a Master of Arts in Teaching, Early Childhood Education.
As an educator, I want to inspire, motivate, instruct, guide, influence and praise. I hope to inspire my students to do good in the world. I want to motivate them to learn. I want to guide them on their educational journey. I want to influence them to create goals for success in their lives, and I want to praise them for working hard. I want my students to know that I truly care about them and their ultimate success in life.
