TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught English for 10 years to students of all ages and experience levels. My primary experience is with K-12 public school students in "Little Red schoolhouse" and ESL Center type settings. As the sole ESL teacher, I have been responsible for all grades and ability levels in elementary, middle and highs school programs.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I create lessons that combine linguistic, literary and content elements to support language proficiency and prepare for high school English classes and support other content classes. I prefer lessons that can be adapted to the needs of individual students who may need support in different areas. I like to include activities that allow students to get up and move.
