TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Classroom teacher since 2000. Digital Classroom teacher since 2008. Leadership experience in middle school planning, Visual Arts, Mathematics. Teaching in senior primary since Jan 2013.

MY TEACHING STYLE

My teaching style is very co-constructivist, it has to be really because I facilitate in an inquiry basedcClassroom and I can never hope to keep up with the pace that my students move at in this area. I take care of the big ideas and scaffold the learning steps while they negotiate how it looks and the journey we go on. They learn to take ownership of their learning very early on with me and develop their intrinsic motivation. To sum it up - we work together to facilitate measurable progress in learning.
