TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have 8 years teaching experience, and I've taught both second and third grade. I recently graduated with a Master's of Education as a Reading Specialist. I'm a certified Orton-Gillingham instructor, as well as Dyslexia Practitioner. I teach Balanced Literacy at the collegiate level- teaching reading is my passion!

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

Bachelor's of Science in Early Childhood Education from Miami University (OH), cum laude, 2006; Master's of Education with a focus in Literacy from Queen's University of Charlotte, 2012. Certified at the Associate's Level in Orton-Gillingham. IDA certified Dyslexia Practitioner.
