I have taught orchestra for the past 12 years. I direct the orchestra programs at a middle and high schools in Albuquerque, New Mexico. In addition I work as a pedagogy coordinator at the University of New Mexico helping young teachers and working closely with Prof. Susan Kepmter.
My teaching style is influenced by the Suzuki method although I use different ways of engaging large string classes. I have been very involved in string education through presenting at conferences, teacher lectures and through my duties as the ASTA president for New Mexico chapter. I am just now starting to get some of the ideas into TpT products.
