I have nine years of teaching experience. Two years in High School Social Studies and the others in Elementary Education. I took time off to complete my Doctorate but I taught Second Grade for Six Years, served as a Literacy Coach, served on MTSS-RTI for four years, was a department chair and K-2 overall interventionist. Currently, I am in the research phase of my dissertation. I'm also K-2 RTI Coordinator, Curriculum Coach, and Civics and Econ teacher. I'm also an Adjunct Professor at a local community college.
I'm a digital 21st Century teacher but also a problem-based and project-based teacher. I always enjoy dressing up for lessons, using technology, as well as doing my read-aloud. Currently, I am working on my dissertation and back in the classroom!
