TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Teaching. For me, it is a calling. My dream was always to become a teacher...and now I am lucky enough to be living that dream!! I believe that teaching is an art form. My classroom is my creative space. I am excited to have the opportunity to share with teachers across the globe! Our job is so important! I love that we can work together!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I like to engage my students in all that I do. I believe students should be active participants in their learning....not spectators. I have a great passion for reading and incorporating technology in my classroom. I try to learn something new everyday! That's one of the reasons why I love TPT. Do you know the book character Mrs. Smith who, when she reads, actually reads the character alive? I aspire to be her!

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

Well, my boys say that I make the best macaroni and cheese. Does that count? (Please don't tell them it's straight from the box!) My husband says that I make a mean salad. That's got to count, right?
