TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Mother of 6 and Teacher of 3 of the most amazing children on the planet! 2 Children have graduated and are in university studies. I have 4 sons, ages 20, 19, 16 and 13. I have 2 daughters, ages 13 and 8. I have now taught every grade PreK through 12th to at least one child and have taught several of those grades to multiple children. Every year and every child is a unique experience! Our oldest son and student graduated with honors from high school May 2017 and is a sophomore attending the University of Tennessee Knoxville on academic and HOPE scholarship, studying Construction Science. Our second oldest son and student graduated with honors from high school May 2018 and is a freshman attending Middle Tennessee State University on HOPE scholarship, studying Business Administration. Our third oldest son is a sophomore attending our local public high school, and he LOVES it for which I'm very thankful. I still teach three at home: our two 7th graders and our 3rd grader. I think I learn more from my students everyday than I could ever hope to teach them! I think you only stop learning when you are no longer breathing! In my "former" life (before children!), I worked for a nationally-known Christian publisher as a freelance Editor after working full-time for several years as an Assistant Editor. Before that, I worked for Service Merchandise in their Advertising department, which is where I learned I love graphic design!
