TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught for 20 years. I have taught kindergarten, first, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, and eighth grades. My favorite is kindergarten.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I like to teach with literature and hands-on learning. I have never been very good at "script" teaching where I am told what to say. I like for the children to have fun while they are learning.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

I received my National Board Certification. This was one of the hardest things I have ever done.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I have my Bachelor's in Education, my Master's in Counseling, supervision certification, and my Reading Specialist degree.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I am married to a wonderful and supportive husband who allows me to dream. We met while cycling and enjoy vacations that involve our bikes.

Teachers Pay Teachers

Teachers Pay Teachers is an online marketplace where teachers buy and sell original educational materials.
