TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have over 10 years of teaching experience in an urban school setting and hold a Senior Professional License for Integrated Language Arts (7-12). I love teaching and working with students. I also enjoy collaborating with colleagues and mentoring teachers-to-be. School is my home away from home.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Students need to be engaged at all times, and while engagement may have many different faces learning is the main priority. I like to have fun with my students so learning isn't "dry." With the challenges and mandates in today's educational system, we need our top focus to be rigor but that doesn't mean we can't enjoy ourselves along the way!
