TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught middle school Home Economics for ten years in Southern California. Through out my teaching career I have developed my own curriculum, cooking competitions, a catering program and aligned our CTE program with our feeder high school. I love what I teach and I hope the kids love it too.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I believe in a circular teaching style where the students have voice and choice in the curriculum as well. I want to learn as much from my students as they do from me. I base my lessons around what they have said they enjoy as well as what I see them learning from. I am always looking for innovative ideas and new teaching methods.
