Hello! My name is Lindsey Stephenson and I'm blessed to be a CCPS teacher. I've enjoyed teaching 4th grade since 2013. I have taught K, 2, 4, and 5. I wanted to create activities, lessons, and various resources to help my students enjoy learning! My goal is to keep my students engaged and help them become lifelong learners. After all, we are ALWAYS learning! Feel free to follow my blog for more teaching ideas. Thanks for stopping by! http://passionforteachingelementary.blogspot.com/
Constructivist style and gradual release model (I do, we do, and then you do). It is important to make learning fun by allowing students to make mistakes and learn from them. This way they will grow! Let the students explore and investigate. Don't always lecture. My favorite quote: It is noble to teach oneself, it is nobler to teach others.
Teaching certificate: Elementary Education K-6 which includes: ESOL Endorsement, Reading Endorsement, and working towards gifted and ESE endorsements. I'm currently the gifted POC at my school.
-Grew up and went to school in Naples. -Graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University in 2012. -Currently a fifth grade teacher!
My passion is teaching. I'm a workaholic and I love everything about my job! :) I love to think of creative and innovative ways to teach the children of the future. **Find additional resources from Passion For Teaching Blog: passionforteachingelementary.blogspot.com Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/passionforteaching Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/user/lindseydstephenson Pinterest: https://www.pinterest.com/msstephenson33/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/passionforteaching/
