TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I work in the Jersey School District in Jerseyville, IL (Go Panthers!). I have taught 2nd Grade, 3rd Grade, and currently--Kindergarten. I thrive on studying how curriculum connects from grade level to grade level. I enjoy every minute of my career and love my school kiddos almost as much as my own:) Life is good!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I love group work! I believe the kiddos learn a great deal from their teacher...but can learn even more from their peers! Conversation is key and I try to use (and produce) materials that promote communication between students.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I have been married for 14 years to my husband, Jay. We have three adorable boys who inspired me to return to college to pursue my teaching degree so that I could be "in the know" on what was going on with their own education. I'm so happy in my new career and I am so thankful to have had the opportunity to pursue it.
