I've been a university teacher since 2010. I teach two basic programming courses in the first and second semester of Computer Science and Computer Engineering. I've also taught the university introductory course in 2011. For some time I also provided in-home tutoring with one-on-one attention for students who needed further support with their programming subjects in their first and second year at university.
I use lots of examples and try to make my lessons interesting by adding colors and callouts. Also, I try to let students know how or when they will be able to use what they're learning, so they can see the point on why to study it. I love helping other people to learn, so I'm always trying to make them think before giving them all the results.
Designated an assistant teacher for two basic programming subjects at UNNOBA University: 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 (first in the rank). Designated an assistant teacher for the introductory course for Computer Science and Computer Engineering in 2011 (UNNOBA University).
In 2007 I got a degree in Law, but only worked as a lawyer for a very short time. I also got a degree as a Notary Public. In 2009 I went back to university to start studying Computer Science and I'm now about to get my third degree. In 2014 I got two undergraduate degress in Computer Science.
I've always loved to teach. When I signed up to be an assistant teacher I decided it was something I'd really love to do even after I graduated. I also enjoy creating video-tutorials and writing articles about different stuff. I'm a native Spanish speaker, with a passion for English and I work as a Software Tester for a US company, as well as keep studying to get my Computer Science degree.
