30 years of teaching Public Education wearing all Art hats possible. I've been School Art Coordinator, Visual Arts Specialist, Decorator of School Auditoriums, Maker of "School Play" Sets & Costumes, and in charge of all School wide Visual Arts Events. Whew....usually with having my own classroom of students. Learned a lot... now I'm able to share that knowledge with all of you.
Everyone can draw-once you get over your Art phobia, and realize There are No Mistakes in Art! When you do my Art lessons you are really exercising your students' right brains. We live in a Left Brain world-our Right brains have a tendency to sit dormant throughout a school day.My lessons are integrated with the other content areas you teach, so there is no guilt for "doing Art" with your lessons. Can't draw? No problem.Your Students draw along with me. Try it once and you will be amazed at how simple it is for your kids to follow along AND how great the quality of their art work becomes.
