Right out of college, I taught Kindergarten and third grade, each for a year, in North Carolina! I am now in my third year of teaching Pre-Kinders and I love every second of it!
I wholeheartedly believe that kiddos learn best when they are engaged in child-centered, hands on, authentic learning experiences! My goal is to spread play-based, whole-child-centered activities and resources with other like-minded educators! Together, we can inspire little learners to show curiosity, investigate their wonderings, problem solve, and engage in the world around them so that they can flourish into well-rounded, capable learners! This is an anti-worksheet, "let them be kids" safe-haven! While I understand the need for and benefit of skill-and-drill worksheets, I believe that they are not developmentally appropriate for children under 6! That being said, some of my resources can be used as a worksheet-type format for those that have a need for paper-and-pencil activities. However, I will highlight how I use the resources in a play-based, hands-on way!
