TEACHING EXPERIENCE

As an expert in non-formal education and an NGO youth worker, I have taught peacebuilding skills to hundreds of young adults in over 10 countries. As of recently, I have taken these skills and applied them to public and private schools in Europe. Currently, I am a history teacher and NVC (Nonviolent Communications) trainer in an American private school in Warsaw, Poland.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Simulations.. Simulations.. Simulations. Social skills/ Emotional Intelligence / Conflict Resolution cannot be learned through reading, lecture or any other passive educational style. I love to bring the classroom alive with real-life situations that challenge the students to apply peacebuilding principles. I am very passionate about theses non-formal educational styles because it allows the students a safe space to practice life-altering skills and provide the necessary feedback for improvement. I have found that students not only grow through these activities but they enjoy every minute of it.
