I have 5 years experience as a speech therapist with students in grades K-5.
I absolutely love my job! It is always fun to develop new activities and crafts to use in my speech room. I do a lot of hands-on activities. I use a lot of glitter. My classroom is usually messy.
I haven't won any official awards, but a 1st grader wrote me a note telling me I was the "best speech teacher in the world" so I am going to count that. Featured in the ASHA Leader Magazine August 2014 issue
