I've been teaching since 2007, trying out new subject combinations and grades most years. Most of my contracts have been in the exciting middle years (grades 5-8), though I have recently moved to a K-5 teacher librarian position.
I create a balance of subject-specific lessons and cross-curricular project-based learning opportunities infused with connections to indigenous ways of knowing, social justice, and real life examples and experiences whenever possible.
