TEACHING EXPERIENCE

An experienced teacher from the UK in all primary grades. I have co-ordinated art, history, geography and design technology in various schools and am currently the Gifted and Talented co-ordinator as well as in charge of SMSC and pastoral care. I am my school's qualified SENCO and teach throughout my school in a variety of roles from SEN to G&T.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Children need fun and enjoyable activities for positive learning to take place. All learning styles need to be catered for and every child's talent allowed to shine during the week. Creativity is the key and we never stop learning throughout our lives. I give 110% and the children give that back too!

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

I have a MA in Education with my thesis - teaching maths through art. I have recently completed a Special Needs higher qualification and a dyslexia teaching course.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I have always enjoyed learning and had some wonderful teachers who truly were inspirational. I never want to stop learning!

Married and mother of two. Committed cat lover!
