With over 25 years of music experience and 15 years as a music/arts educator, Young is a sought-after lecturer and writer on music technology, world music, music marketing, and contemporary music. Taught with the nationally recognized ArtREACH program for homeless South Florida Children. Taught at Florida International University, the University of Phoenix, Murray State University, the MOSI School for At-Risk Children, the Young at Art Children's Museum, the Museum of Science and Industry in Tampa, and as a volunteer with various programs for urban youth. Additional training in diversity, multicultural music education, special education, and working with at-risk, homeless and urban populations.
