I have been a teacher to Pre-K - 4th grade students. In addition to being in a regular education classroom setting, I have also had a chance to teach elementary gifted students in a pull-out program. All of my students have taught me just as much as I have hopefully taught them!
I like to explore, make, create, experiment, and question with my students. I believe students learn best when they are given trust and responsibilities, and get a chance to have authentic learning experiences.

I love to hike with my husband, be outdoors, play with my two sons, two dogs, garden, and find ways to live more naturally. I love waking up early, coffee, good bargains, and family game nights. The mountains call to me, but I've never been west of the Mississippi River. Someday, that will change, but for now, I am sinking my toes into the beaches of the East Coast.
