TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I just finished my 12th year of teaching. I've taught 4th grade, 5th grade, 2nd grade, transitional first and kindergarten. My heart is with the younger grades. I am also the teacher of our school system's Parent English Class. I have been organizing this class for 10 years. It is the highlight of my week. I love my dedicated parents! I am a mentor teacher at my school which means I am a classroom teacher but I also evaluate other teachers.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I really enjoy presenting a short mini-lesson and allowing the students to lead the learning.
