Most of my twenty plus years of teaching has been working with kids and teen in danger to themselves and others. I have worked in public schools, psychiatric settings and residential schools. I am a behavior transformation specialist through the L.A. Department of Education To become a better teacher I became a student and then a presenter in brain-based learning. I have taught teachers in India how to teach using minimum supplies and art teachers in the U.S. how to teach in the diverse classrooms.
I have a strong ecology emphasis in my lessons, using ecology- based activities to raise academics skills and abilities and to transform behavior. In all grade I have found teaching creative writing and using artful activities,combined with specific behavioral objectives, very effective in transforming behavior, raising academic skills and teaching in very diverse classrooms.

Credentials: Communication Arts, English, Special Education, M.A. Behavior Transformation. I have a junior college credential and am self educated and a presenter in the area of brain-based learning.
