TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I spent my first five years in teaching with 8th grade language arts. After that, I had three years as a 6-8th academic interventionist. The focus was on reading but it also included all subjects and study skills work. Now, I'm back to 8th grade language arts!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I try to engage students in ways that are interesting and fun - frequently using technology. I also believe in meeting students where they are at developmentally, trying to help them grow academically. This can include differentiation and modifications to the curriculum as needed.
